extraído

extracted

adjective ehks-trah-EE-doh Rare

Also means

derived

Usage Note

Extraído is the past participle of extraer ('to extract'), used as an adjective. Note the written accent on the i — without it the word would be extraido, but the hiatus between a and i requires the accent mark. It commonly appears in scientific and culinary contexts: aceite extraído en frío ('cold-pressed oil'), datos extraídos de la encuesta ('data extracted from the survey').

Examples

"El aceite extraído es de alta calidad."

Natural Translation

The extracted oil is of high quality.
