Usage Note
Exdirector (also written ex director) uses the prefix ex- to mean someone who formerly held the post of director. In Spanish, ex- is written attached to the noun without a hyphen per current RAE guidelines (exdirector, expresidente). The feminine is exdirectora. The plural is regular: exdirectores.
