Usage Note
Diosa is the feminine form of dios (god). It is used both in mythology (diosa griega — Greek goddess) and colloquially to describe a strikingly beautiful woman. Unlike English 'goddess', Spanish distinguishes grammatically: el dios (m) / la diosa (f).

Natural Translation
Aphrodite was the goddess of love.
