Cinturón primarily means a clothing belt (cinturón de cuero — leather belt) but also refers to a ring road or bypass (cinturón de circunvalación) and a safety belt (cinturón de seguridad — seatbelt). In martial arts, cinturón negro (black belt) is the familiar term. The plural cinturones follows regular -ón → -ones pattern with no accent on the plural form.
