Usage Note
Certeza denotes absolute, subjective certainty — tengo la certeza de que es verdad ('I am certain it is true'). It differs from certidumbre (a near-synonym, slightly more literary) and from seguridad (confidence/safety), which has a broader range. The fixed phrase con certeza ('with certainty', 'for certain') is one of the most common adverbial patterns.
Examples
"Habló con absoluta certeza sobre el resultado."
