asesora

(female) advisor, consultant

noun ah-seh-SOH-rah Rare

Usage Note

Asesora is the feminine form of asesor; both forms are standard and interchangeable depending on the person's gender. Asesora can precede or follow a modifier: asesora fiscal (tax advisor), asesora jurídica (legal consultant). Unlike some professions, this title does not require -a to be feminine — both asesor and asesora are fully established.

Examples

"La asesora revisó el contrato."

Natural Translation

The advisor reviewed the contract.
