Vibrar means to vibrate physically (a phone, a string) and, figuratively, to thrill or quiver with emotion (vibrar de emoción = to thrill with emotion). In sports commentary it is common: el estadio vibró (the stadium was buzzing). The related adjective is vibrante (vibrant, thrilling) and the noun is vibración. The phone sense (el móvil vibra) makes it one of the most everyday modern uses.
