Usage Note

Típicamente modifies verbs, adjectives, or clauses to mean 'in the way that is typical.' It is formed regularly from típico + -mente. Like most Spanish adverbs in -mente, it loses the accent mark that típico carries: típicotípicamente. It is common in academic and journalistic registers; in casual speech normalmente or generalmente is often preferred.
