superhéroe
superhero
noun soo-peh-REH-roh-eh Rare
Origin: From 'super-' (Latin, above) + héroe (hero, from Greek 'heros').
Usage Note
Superhéroe is a direct borrowing/calque of the English 'superhero', well-established in Spanish. Note the written accent on the first e of héroe — this is retained in the compound: superhéroe. The feminine form is superheroína. The plural is superhéroes (accent retained). In Spain and Latin America, superhero films and comics are referred to with this term uniformly.
Examples
"De niño soñaba con ser un superhéroe y salvar el mundo."
