Sobrecargar is a regular -ar verb with the same spelling change as cargar: the g becomes gu before e (sobrecargué). It is used literally — sobrecargar un camión (to overload a truck) — and figuratively — sobrecargar de trabajo (to overburden with work). In IT, it also means 'to overload' a network or server.
