Usage Note

Sifón has two main uses: the curved plumbing trap under sinks and toilets that blocks sewer gases, and the pressurized bottle used to dispense sparkling water or cream. In Spain, agua de sifón refers to carbonated water dispensed this way. In physics it also names the siphon device that moves liquids.
