Seguridad covers physical safety (cinturón de seguridad, 'seatbelt'), personal security (seguridad personal), and certainty (con seguridad, 'with certainty'). La Seguridad Social is Spain's social security system. The adjective seguro shares the root and doubles as the word for 'insurance' (el seguro del coche).
