Usage Note
Scout is an unadapted English loanword used in Spanish to refer to members of the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts movement. As an adjective it is invariable: un grupo scout, una actividad scout. The plural is scouts. In Spain and Latin America the movement is also called escultismo, derived from the same root, and members can be called exploradores in more formal contexts.
