Riesgoso is the Latin American Spanish adjective for 'risky' or 'dangerous', derived from riesgo (risk). In Spain, arriesgado is the preferred form, while riesgoso is standard in most of Latin America. Both are understood across all regions. The noun riesgo is universal.
