Usage Note
Respetuoso describes a person or behaviour that shows respect (tono respetuoso = 'respectful tone'). It differs from respetable ('respectable, worthy of respect') — respetuoso is about showing respect, respetable about deserving it. The related noun is respeto and the verb is respetar.
