Usage Note

Renovado is the past-participle adjective from renovar (to renew). It describes something that has been refreshed, restored, or given new energy: con renovado entusiasmo ('with renewed enthusiasm'). When used predicatively with ser, it describes a permanent state; with estar, a recent change — the ser/estar distinction applies normally here.
