Reinserción refers specifically to the social reintegration of people who have been excluded from society—most commonly ex-prisoners or former drug users. The full phrase reinserción social is the standard term in Spanish social policy. Do not confuse with reinserción laboral, which refers specifically to returning to the workforce.
