Reajuste describes a corrective adjustment to a system, plan, prices, or personnel — often implying something was wrong before. In political and economic journalism reajuste presupuestario (budget readjustment) and reajuste ministerial (cabinet reshuffle) are set phrases. It is slightly softer in register than reforma and implies fine-tuning rather than radical change.
