quinto
fifth
adjective KEEN-toh Less Common
Origin: from Latin quintus
Usage Note
Quinto is the ordinal for five and normally precedes the noun (el quinto piso), though it may follow in set titles (Carlos Quinto). Ordinals above tenth (décimo) are often replaced by cardinal numbers in informal speech: el piso quince instead of el decimoquinto. The feminine is quinta, which also means a country house or villa.
Examples
"Vive en el quinto piso."
Natural Translation
She lives on the fifth floor.
