Usage Note
Queja is a general complaint or grievance, while denuncia is a formal legal complaint filed with authorities. To file a complaint, you use presentar una queja or poner una queja. The verb is quejarse (to complain), typically followed by de: se queja de todo (he complains about everything). The adjective quejumbroso means whiny or prone to complaining.
