Usage Note

Presentación covers both a formal presentation (a talk, a product launch) and the act of introducing one person to another. The verb is presentar; when introducing yourself you say me presento or simply give your name after a handshake. In business Spanish it also means 'submission' of documents — la presentación de la solicitud.
