Usage Note

Organizar follows the -zar spelling rule: the z changes to c before e in the preterite and subjunctive (organicé, organice). It covers arranging events, setting up structures, and tidying. The reflexive organizarse means to get oneself organized: ¡tengo que organizarme!.
