Musasas is the plural of musasa, a regional term for the Brachystegia spiciformis tree native to southern and central African woodlands, found in Spanish texts about Zimbabwean or Zambian ecology. It is a loanword from local Bantu languages. Outside ecological or regional contexts the word is very rare in Spanish.
