Migración covers both human migration (the movement of people between regions or countries) and animal migration (seasonal movement of species). For human movement, inmigración (immigration, arriving) and emigración (emigration, leaving) are more precise. Migración is the neutral umbrella term. The adjective is migratorio and the agent noun is migrante (migrant).
