Mejora is the noun from mejorar ('to improve'). It can refer to a health improvement (experimenta una mejora — 'he/she is showing improvement') or any general upgrade. The related noun mejoramiento is more common in Latin America, while mejora is preferred in Spain. The expression ir a mejor means 'to be getting better'.
