Lujoso describes something characterised by luxury and high quality — un hotel lujoso, un coche lujoso. It derives from lujo (luxury). The intensifier de lujo is very common as a postpositive phrase: un apartamento de lujo (a luxury apartment). Lujoso places the quality in the item itself, while de lujo is more of a commercial category label.
