Usage Note

Junto most commonly appears in the adverbial phrases junto a ('next to, alongside') and junto con ('together with'). As a pure adjective it agrees in gender and number (juntos, juntas) meaning 'together' or 'joined.' Do not confuse with the noun junta (a board, council, or junta), which is a separate word sharing the same root.
