Usage Note
Jueza is the feminine form of juez (judge), now the standard and officially recommended term for a woman serving as judge in Spain and most of Latin America. Some formal documents still use la juez with feminine article, but jueza is increasingly preferred. The plural is juezas.
Examples
"La jueza dictó sentencia esta mañana."
