indiscutido

undisputed; uncontested

adjective een-dees-koo-TEE-doh Rare

Usage Note

Indiscutido means that something is not called into question — it is accepted by all. The feminine form is indiscutida. It is slightly more formal than indiscutible (indisputable) and often appears with titles: campeón indiscutido (undisputed champion). Both forms coexist, but indiscutido emphasizes the actual absence of dispute, while indiscutible emphasizes that it cannot be disputed.

Examples

"Es el líder indiscutido del partido."

Natural Translation

He is the undisputed leader of the party.
