Usage Note
Incluso is an adverb meaning 'even' or 'including', and is one of the stronger logical connectors in Spanish: incluso los expertos se equivocan ('even experts make mistakes'). As a preposition it can precede a noun phrase without a following verb: todos vinieron, incluso María. It is more emphatic than hasta, which can carry the same meaning in informal speech.
