Usage Note
Implantar means to implant (a device, embryo, idea) or, more broadly, to introduce and establish something new: implantar un sistema (to put a system in place), implantar una ley (to enact a law). In medicine it is used literally (implantar un marcapasos). The noun is implantación and the medical device noun is implante. It is more formal than introducir in administrative contexts.
