Usage Note

Firmado is the past participle of firmar (to sign) used as an adjective. It agrees in gender and number (firmada, firmados, firmadas). In legal and official contexts, el acuerdo firmado (the signed agreement) is very common. When used with estar, it describes the state of a document: El contrato ya está firmado — the contract is already signed.
