Faceta is used both literally (a flat face of a gemstone) and figuratively (an aspect or dimension of a person or situation): las múltiples facetas de su personalidad. It is feminine and forms a regular plural facetas. In everyday speech aspecto is more common; faceta carries a slightly more analytical or literary tone.
