Usage Note
Exponer means to lay out or present (ideas, an argument, an exhibition) and also to expose someone to danger or risk — exponer a un riesgo. The reflexive exponerse means 'to put oneself at risk'. Its past participle expuesto is irregular, used also in estar expuesto al sol ('to be exposed to the sun').
