Usage Note

Espacio covers physical space, blank space on a page, and outer space (el espacio exterior). The adjective espacioso means 'spacious'. Note the -cio ending is pronounced '-syoh', not '-thee-oh' — SESEO applies here as everywhere in Latin America and most of southern Spain.
