Esclavizar is a regular -ar verb (with the spelling change -z → -c- before e: esclavice). It can be used literally (to reduce someone to slavery) or figuratively (el trabajo lo esclaviza — work enslaves him). The related noun is esclavitud and the adjective esclavizante ('enslaving, all-consuming').
