Usage Note
Entretenido describes both something that is entertaining (a film, a book) and a person who is kept busy or absorbed: estoy entretenido means 'I'm busy/occupied' rather than 'I'm entertained'. With ser it is a lasting trait of the thing; with estar it describes someone currently occupied. The related noun is entretenimiento (entertainment).
Examples
