Entrenamiento refers to athletic or physical training (entrenamiento de fútbol, 'football training') as well as professional or skills training (entrenamiento laboral). The agent noun is entrenador/a ('coach, trainer'). In sports contexts sesión de entrenamiento is a full training session, while entrenar is the verb — entrenan todos los días ('they train every day').
