Usage Note
Entrar usually requires en in Spain (entrar en la tienda) but a in much of Latin America (entrar a la tienda) — both are correct and widely understood. It is intransitive in this core sense. The noun entrada means 'entrance' but also 'ticket' for an event (dos entradas para el concierto).
