Usage Note

Disciplinario describes actions, measures, or bodies that impose or maintain discipline: expediente disciplinario (disciplinary proceedings), comité disciplinario (disciplinary committee). It is purely formal and legal/institutional in register; it is rarely used in casual speech. The feminine form is disciplinaria; plural disciplinarios/as.
