Usage Note
Develar is the Latin American Spanish verb for 'to reveal' or 'to uncover (a secret or truth)'. In Spain the more common equivalent is desvelar (also meaning to keep someone awake, which develar does NOT mean — a useful distinction). Develar un misterio (to reveal a mystery) is a typical collocation.
