Usage Note
Desapercibido means going unnoticed or passing without being observed, and is most often used in the phrase pasar desapercibido (to go unnoticed). A common learner error is confusing it with desprevenido (unprepared, caught off guard); they are not interchangeable. The word agrees in gender and number: desapercibida, desapercibidos.
