Usage Note
Cristalizar is used both literally, for a substance forming crystals, and figuratively for an idea or plan becoming concrete — el proyecto cristalizó en un acuerdo ('the project crystallized into an agreement'). It is a regular -ar verb. The noun form is cristalización.
