Usage Note

Cosmopolita is invariable for gender — un hombre cosmopolita and una ciudad cosmopolita both use the same form. It describes people at home in many cultures, or cities with a diverse international population. It can also be used as a noun (es un cosmopolita, he is a cosmopolitan person).
