choir
Usage Note
Coral is a false friend to watch: in music it means a choral group or chorale, while in biology it refers to the reef-building marine organism. In Spanish the word is masculine when referring to the animal (el coral) and can also be used as an adjective meaning 'choral' (música coral). The color sense (coral pink) also exists in Spanish.
Examples
"El coral rojo está protegido por ley."
Natural Translation
The red coral is protected by law.
