Constante is invariable for gender (un ritmo constante, una presión constante). As a feminine noun, una constante refers to a constant in mathematics or science, or a recurring feature (la honestidad es una constante en su obra). The adverb is constantemente. Do not confuse with continuo (uninterrupted/continuous), which implies no breaks, whereas constante implies steady reliability.
