Considerable is an invariable adjective meaning notably large or important in amount or extent. It is a near-perfect cognate with the English word and is used in formal and written registers (un esfuerzo considerable, una suma considerable). The corresponding adverb is considerablemente ('considerably'). Do not confuse with considerado ('considerate, thoughtful towards others').
