Conselleria (also spelled consejería in Castilian) refers to a department within a Spanish autonomous-community government, equivalent to a national ministry at the regional level: Conselleria d'Educació. The Catalan/Valencian spelling appears in official names of those regions; the Castilian form consejería is used elsewhere in Spain. Outside Spain, the word is rarely encountered.
