Condicionar means both 'to impose conditions on something' and 'to shape or determine an outcome', so context disambiguates. In psychology it also means 'to condition' in the Pavlovian sense (condicionamiento clásico). It is a regular -ar verb. The reflexive condicionarse means 'to be conditioned' or 'to let oneself be constrained'.
