Usage Note
Censar means to officially enumerate or register people, animals, or things in an official count. It is a regular -ar verb. A person se censa (registers) in a municipality to establish legal residence. Do not confuse it with censurar (to censor), a completely different verb.

"El ayuntamiento va a censar a todos los residentes."
Natural Translation
The town hall is going to register all residents.
